SLEEPING BEAUTYJoin Manassas Ballet Theatre as it retells Marius Petipa’s classic fairy tale ballet, Sleeping Beauty.  Performed by MBT’s professional dancers and accompanied by the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s celebrated score.  The Sleeping Beauty is as engaging now as when Aurora first fell asleep more than 100 years ago! Ticket Prices: $35, $45, $55

COLIN
This poignant ballet tells the very personal story of Colin J. Wolf, the Marine son of Manassas Ballet Theatre’s artistic director, Amy Grant Wolfe, who lost his life in Iraq.  After receiving much acclaim and national media attention with her original one act ballet, “Colin” debuts as an evening-length ballet accompanied by the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra.

THE NUTCRACKER

Celebrate the magic of the holidays with Manassas Ballet Theatre’s beloved “Nutcracker”, complete with beautiful custom scenery and costumes, and featuring the professional company dancers alongside an ensemble cast with the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra performing the classic Tchaikovsky score.

PETER AND THE WOLF AND MORE

The program begins with new contemporary choreography.  Act two brings the classical folk tale, “Peter and the Wolf”, to the stage.  Set to the enchanting Sergei Prokofiev score performed by the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra.

GISELLE

Manassas Ballet Theatre presents “Giselle”, the classic, romantic ballet that speaks to the power of true love.  It tells the tale of a peasant girl named Giselle who dies of a broken heart after she discovers the one she loves belongs to another, and in the end, her love for the heartbreaker saves him from a horrible fate.  “Giselle” with its colorful act one village scene and wistful, romantic act two, is a worldwide favorite.  MBT will be accompanied live by the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra.
